For the 2017 International Comic-Con event in San Diego, California, we partnered with our friends at Nickelodeon and Viacom to deliver a live printing solution to stun attendees and give them a special souvenir to take home to remember the event by.

The annual multi-genre entertainment and comic convention is the biggest of its kind. The four day event is held at the San Diego Convention Centre and boasts an attendance rate of over 150,000 people.

We dipped into the Nickelodeon archives for a nostalgic flashback. Set against a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles New York cityscape, fans were able to purchase a t-shirt from the retail shop powered by YR and customise it on the spot with characters and art from their choice of seven fan favourite Nick shows: SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Hey Arnold!, Rocko’s Modern Life,The Loud House, Rugrats and Danny Phantom. We printed over 1,500 t-shirts over the convention and had one of the most popular stands at the show!
