THE BRIEF: A HYBRID AVATAR EXPERIENCE
Wazzo partnered with YR to deliver a highly interactive Android bot design and printing experience in Milan. The goal was to bridge the gap between mobile design and physical production, inviting guests to create personalized Android avatars that could be transformed into high-quality physical giveaways in real-time.
TECHNICAL IMPLEMENTATION & OUTCOME
For this android activation, YR deployed a live kiosk activation featuring a custom hybrid app and hardware workflow. The front-end experience utilized a custom app-to-screen integration, allowing guests to start their designs on their own mobile devices. These designs were then synced via QR code to 27″ yr touchscreens powered by our unity platform engine. This locally hosted configurator ensured a fast, internet-free setup tailored to the event space. Once finalized, the system managed instant print order generation, routing designs to on-site dye-sublimation stations for immediate fulfillment on linen-effect cosmetic bags.

WHY IT WORKED: SEAMLESS DIGITAL-TO-PHYSICAL JOURNEY
The success of the Milan activation lay in the frictionless transition from mobile avatar customisation to on-site production. Guests enjoyed the creative freedom of the high-fidelity 3d visualization on the kiosks, followed by the “theatre” of seeing their bot printed live in under two minutes. This on-site service provided a highly tactile end result that resonated with the tech-focused audience.
