YR x Metropolitan Museum New York
The Metropolitan Museum in New York, one of the world’s largest and finest art museums, approached YR to partner on the launch of its online product customization platform, ‘The Met Store, by You’.
Conceived as a series of limited-time activations, the site offers visitors something completely new – the ability to select and mix their favorite artworks from The Met Collection on adult and children’s t-shirts, as well as tote bags.
Launched with the ‘I Support The Arts’ campaign, the site introduces new design themes and artwork each season and aims to engage both new and existing audiences through entertainment and education. Each item is printed with a QR code for sharing and all purchases through the site support The Met Collection and the study, conservation and presentation of thousands of years of art.
This partnership with The Met represents not only the salience of customization in online retail but a proud moment for YR to support the arts and this iconic institution.
