YR returned to EDC Japan with an exclusive online design app

After the success of the festival activation with Electric Daisy Carnival, we were invited back to EDC to create an even bigger live printing pop-up. In the lead up to the main event, we launched an online application to build up the excitement. The design space was curated exclusively for EDC Japan. Guests were able to create custom merchandise on their mobile phones and have the prints delivered direct to their homes pre-event or picked up at the festival using their unique QR code. The app also came in handy for any festival goers who didn’t want to wait in line on the day.
